GINVEST BY GCASH What is GInvest in Gcash?
GInvest is a feature in GCash that is partnered by ATRAM Group (www.atram.com.ph) that can invest GCash money. For minimum of PHP 50 only, you can already invest to grow your GCash money, however it can also cause losses when the market value goes down so it really depends on the market value. So I want to share with you my experience in investing GCash in GInvest. I invest GCash via GInvest buy buying a share called "ATRAM Global Technology Feeder Fund" that is minimum of PHP 1,000. It takes 7 days to complete the transaction after I buy the share and the market value graph showed to monitor the stock exchange. I often monitor the graph hoping the value to rise and to sell my share so I can gained profit. And the time goes by, the market value is rise and enough to gain profit, so my share worth of PHP 1,000 become PHP 1,500 so I gain PHP 500 then I immediately sell my share to lock my gained by clicking the "Sell" button. But the GInvest notifies me that it will take some time to process the transaction and I'm waiting for it. After a moment GInvest notifies me that the transaction is complete and they return my investment with the profit, but how come that my worth value became PHP 990 only despite I have gain profit? Where's the other? I have worth value of PHP 1,000 with a profit of PHP 500 and after transaction they return my worth value of PHP 990? Where's the supposedly PHP 1,500? Did they make payments of the transaction? So I conclude that the GInvest in GCash is a work of disappointment because you will lose some of your money when you invest on it instead to gain profit. So I don't recommend investing in GInvest in GCash.
